Undo the thought processes

Can you imagine how this student must feel being given all those instructions! ….and now he has to stay sharp and focused aswell on this and that part of his body… and at the same time trying to do some pranayama to release the holding on or resistances he feels.

It won’t work!

When in asanas it’s best to NOT work with the body and thoughts

Once the alignment is safe, which is a MUST.

…Working with the more subtle layer underlying the physical body shifts the “restriction places and blockages” out.

It is done by direct perception and not through sense, using a practice called pranayama.

The mind disengages from tensions and resistances and there is a release.

Those tensions are caused by the mind aspect wanting to be the best at yoga or holding onto a resistance to change.

The purpose of yoga is to still the mind from always wanting something more or wishing something we had; it is always in a dualistic pattern.

Never feeling complete and content.

By using the asanas to experience the blockages that are there within we can then use the pranayama and reduce the attachments formed from the ongoing desires.

It stops an ongoing cycle that never brings satisfaction.

There are deep attachments within us all ones that rule us; being attached to our houses, cars, objects, people’s opinions, comparing our lives to others and even the special abilities we gain from the practice of yoga can draw the ego back into attachment.

Unblocking the deeper attachments held,

we will work towards releasing some of these and this will free up more awareness of when we are in ego attachment and when we are not.

We can navigate our life with more content from within.

When we release we reduce karmic patterns and can evolve, on all levels.

Om Shanti 🙏
