This posture - cow arms and forward bend from sitting with straight legs. Alot can be felt inside - what are those feelings? How do they go?

We should be asking these questions and waking up, to a realisation with yoga practice.

This week we will work with seeing what feelings are brought up to the surface when we are in certain yoga postures.

We seem to battle with some and others we find easier.

What are we fighting against and what are we pleasing, within those two different experiences?

We are battling ourselves and also feeding ourselves up.

Both cause more obstacles; a never ending cycle.

We do this in life too, always running after pleasure and avoiding pain.

We do this to keep our self identity feeling happy.

The true yogis found that the self identity wasn’t real.

It’s a factor we have made in the mind and when they disempowered it they could experience the good and bad and not be differentiated by it.

The experience of sameness inside with what ever is experienced on the outside.

Do we even notice this?

We will wake up to what we habitually do, to avoid or go after.

Postures are useful to experience what we feel and using the focus on pranayama the obstacles created dwindle.

We are detaching from the patterns within us and experiencing an inner fulfilment.
