When you are aware of the inner forces of prana you are not in your usual state of mind - you have gone beyond the ego state.

In Hatha Yoga we can be aware of inner forces of movement within a subtler place than the outer physical plane.

When we experience these we are not in our normal state of mind. We are able to focus inside and “see” what it is that is showing as restriction. (We believe it is in the physical body.)

It is inner resistance coming from “me”

That resistance clings to a non - physical aspect of me.

It is the “me state of mind” when that is all we are attached to in life, that causes these obstacles.

This week we will focus on the vayu; Samana, the current of prana; the life force in a sideway/outward movement and a drawing back into the well of prana behind manipura chakra at the navel centre. It is linked with breath but it is not breath.

It moves beyond the sides of the body whereas breathing muscles used can only move the physical body.

We feel an inner opening, and the sense of me is lessened but ironically we feel more free.

Om Shanti 🙏
