Opening the heart space

Ultimately we aspire to spread metta; loving kindness  unconditionally.

It is difficult when we find a person challenging or difficult.

However if we don’t offer kindness, not only does it affect our health and wellbeing but also to that person and so on it continues ….

This week we will work on transforming the space in which the metta seed is held to expand our experience beyond the play of pleasure and pain so we, like the sages can see we are already full within, regardless if someone hurts us or not.

It is only the mind’s identity that can be hurt.

The inner Reality does not get touched by anything.

When we detach from mental identification we can experience the inner power that governs duality but is not owned by it.

The feeling of being separate comes from this identity when governed by mind and senses.

In meditation there is a realisation  this world is filled with the same presence of being and is unharmed not affected by the duality of life.

When we see the underlying changeless in the heart space there is nothing else in life to know.
