Hatha Yoga works on the subtle pranic body, not the physical body.
When we experience resistance, holding on, this is from the mind and its attachments blocking the life within, (we feel dull in areas and we feel more brighter in others, this is the prana blocked or moving).
The life within is prana.
Prana; life needs to move and it moves us along, to evolve. We do feel stuck at times!
We experience more of life and less clinging, mind clears.
Life flows!
This is the understanding and realisation of who, what we are…. not just a body with a brain and 5 senses.
But an amazing intelligence within that experiences Life.
We are the amazing intelligence sometimes called the Self; Consciousness (this is the mind in its true stillness) and that is what experiences Life.
Mind is not the brain it is consciousness and it is not a fixed entity and is the core of each human, it appears to be attached to the physical and mental aspect of our being.
But it is not and the ancient yogis found this out.
The real reason for yoga is to bring stillness to mind.
