Insight into spaciousness when mind is stilled
( the video clip is a sample from my last class- this is how you would be taught if you were taking a class face to face or live streamed or by video)
Teaching theme this week is being able to sit still and do nothing but be present.
We tend to sit and do something; watch tv, read a book, talk with friends,talk business, eat or drink.
We will relearn to just be. So many benefits - as out of stillness, on all levels comes insight and out of insight comes wisdom.
In stillness we can identify with Awareness, the ground of our existence.
Sthira sukham asanam - when a seated posture is comfortable and steady - a well known thread of knowledge from Patanjali Yoga Sutras- when we can accomplish this in a seated posture and be in stillness we are with Awareness from which all activity is suspended in.
