Working with the illiopsoas muscle group
This week in yoga we will work and understand the effects of balancing the illiopsoas muscle, the most important group of skeletal muscles in the human body.
They connect the upper body to the lower body (spine to legs) which effects posture, movement and stability.
We will use the yoga teachings and because the muscle’s position is in the body’s centre of gravity there will be an effect on balance, nerves and subtle energies resulting in a releasement of holding patterns within our subconscious mind.
