Forgetting is remembering something.

Detachment is the practice, it is not rejection.
It is not pushing things away.
It is the art of letting go — so we can truly hold.
We often think fullness comes from collecting more:
More thoughts. More goals. More connections.
But fullness… is only possible when we release.
This is the paradox:
To experience everything,
you must learn to let go of something.
To study — you must forget your to-do list.
To love — you must release your fears.
To be present — you must forget the past… even just for now.
There’s a voice always playing behind the scenes —
a narrative of shoulds, plans, memories, noise.
But what happens when, just for a moment,
we forget everything except this breath,
this feeling,
this moment?
Then — we arrive.
Not in the past. Not in the future.
But in the living fullness of now.
And that…
is where life is waiting.
Om Shanti
