Breath versus Pranayama.

Breath and pranayama.
With every out breath we lose vital energy; known as prana and the body’s elements degenerate.
To retain vital energy we need to retain the vayus; currents of life force. We do this with the practice of pranayama; controlling breath which expands prana; vital energy.
It is the attachments in mind that become glued within the vital energy force effecting physical aspects.
These attachments are ingrained and are what we believe and become as an individual.
Controlling prana will control the attachments in mind.
They become detached from them when we suspend breath revealing a pure consciousness and a feeling of life back in the body.
It’s the unravelling of mind’s attachments which is felt in body that is the journey we practice in yoga to understand that the attachments are not real and there is a freedom in experiencing the true Self; pure consciousness.
Om Shanti
