Training the mind for meditation

This week in the teaching theme we will be binding the mind to one object and practicing to train the mind ready for meditation.

By doing this we can reduce the replaying patterns of our deep attachments related to fear about our impermanent existence here on this earth plane.

The deepest fear for all of us is around the fear of death, getting old, hanging onto our youthfulness.

When we try to “hold on” we are misunderstanding that life needs to flow through us to experience the present moment of life in all its beauty and wonder that it brings.

We will be able to feel the detachment from these tensions and the youthful feeling and a feeling of freshness about life occurs without trying.
